Message from Our Project Lead

Our target of £2,500 would allow us to continue setting up focus groups with local business and citizens in Accra to undertake this study on the ground. This would involve interviewing locals who already have initiatives in recycling plastic, who's livelihood depends on the seaweed infestation and plastic waste, or whom these problems are of concern.

It would also allow us to continue setting up seaweed cultivation and harvesting in coastal communities with the local people.

Our main concern is to make sure that this is a sustainable and helpful business in Ghana for those living there.
